When customers are looking to fit-out their bathroom as part of a re-modelling project they quite often look for products that will give a light and bright finish. A lot of bathrooms and shower rooms are quite small so anything that you add to the room that is dark can make the space feel more enclosed – Vicenza bathroom cladding is perfect for such situations.
The walls provide the greatest surface area within the room so anything dark used to clad these will have the greatest effect on the overall light levels. The surface of the walls can also have an effect – but a much less so than the colour, so glossy surfaces will reflect light a little more than matt finishes.
With this in mind it is no wonder many customers opt for a light, glossy, marble effect panel when choosing cladding for their bathroom. Marble has been used for thousands of years in bathrooms so it is the obvious design to copy when making more modern forms of covering (a large proportion of bathroom tiles will have a marble effect as well).
The photos here have been sent in by one of our customers who has just undertaken such a project and utilised a light colours marble panel. Her choice was Vicenza bathroom cladding (in Beige Marble) which ticks all the boxes when it comes to the required qualities.
The cladding was fitted insider her shower cubicle as well as around the rest of the bathroom. There is a very smart square drench shower head installed which would prove no problem for the cladding as it is 100% waterproof.
Here are a few more shots from the same installation showing the cladding around the rest of the room. As can be seen in the photos this particular design is quite muted in colour so it provides a very neutral background – it is always possible to add brighter colours into such a scheme with your choice of blinds, rugs, towels etc.
