Someone just asked us if the panels would be crushed if they installed a bath shower screen over our cladding.
In practice it should not be an issue but there are a couple of methods that can be employed to make sure that this cannot happen – they highlighted on our installation page here
One method, that is super quick and easy, is to use a few extra screws to prevent the item being fixed from crushing the panels when the screws are tightened, as shown in the diagram.
In this example the top and bottom screw do not hold anything in place. They are simply screwed into the wall until they are level with the surface of the panels. The other two screws are then used to fix the items to the wall but they cannot crush the panels as the first two screws will prevent this from happening.
