Although they are not the most practical tile for bathroom walls, mosaic tiles have seen a huge resurgence in popularity in recent years.
The main drawback of types of ceramic wall tiles is the grout. Ceramic tiles are cold to the touch and attract condensation. The condensation keeps the grout moist which, if porous, will harbour bacteria and lead to mould growth.
A modern alternative to bathroom mosaic tiles is the waterproof wall panel.
