Mosaic TileA mosaic tile effect can be applied to many items including table tops and counter tops. They can be made by breaking up larger ceramic tiles into small pieces and then cementing them onto the surface, before filling in the gaps with a grouting compound. Mosaic tiles are also used to cover bathroom walls and have seen a huge rise in popularity over recent years. Each mosaic tile is attached to a backing sheet and separated ffrom the next tile by a grout gap. The sheet of mosaic tiles is then stuck to the wall. This can be a tricky and messy process so there is now an easier way to achieve the same effect - waterproof wall panels.
